Genie Outlook Backup backs up all your Outlook (2000/2002/2003) data and settings, it also supports backing up when multiple profiles are set by choosing the desired profile from the drop down menu.

Outlook data that Genie Outlook Backup can backup include:

a)Outlook Data:

PST Files:
Which contains ‘outlook.pst’, 'archive.pst' and any other created PST files
Genie Outlook Backup will detect and locate all your created and added PST files

PST files contain the following items:

  • E-mails and attachments
  • Contacts
  • Tasks
  • Calendar
  • Notes
  • Shortcuts

Personal Files and Data Folder:
Which contains personal files and data associated with Microsoft Outlook.


Settings and Control Information:
Which contains the Microsoft Outlook settings and preferences.


Outlook Signatures:
The signatures used at the end of email messages can also be backed up and restored using Genie Outlook Backup.


Outlook Stationery:
Stationery is a template that includes a background image, unique text font colors, and custom margins.
Since many users create their own “Stationery” to write good-looking messages for e-mail and newsgroups, Genie Outlook Backup gives the users the option to save the users’ created stationery.

Outlook Custom Forms:
Forms are used to quickly and easily standardize the way information is distributed and collected electronically. Microsoft Outlook provides built-in forms for sending messages and for storing contact information.


b) Outlook Settings:

Internet e-mail accounts:
Genie Outlook Backup enables the user to backup all POP3 e-mail accounts created in Microsoft Outlook.


Outlook Options and Settings:
These include the options the user selects and sets while using Microsoft Outlook such as: notifications, displays, send/receive message options, read receipts, sending options and formats, maintenance preferences, etc.

Note: During backup Genie Outlook Backup detects and backs up any additional PST files not located in the default folder.
